In Japan, Pokémon fans will soon be able to purchase a cuddly Slowpoke the size of a human.

The official Pokémon website has listed a giant Slowpoke plush that will be available for pre-orders later this month. The plush is currently priced at 49,500 yen (roughly $450 USD) and will be released in Japan sometime in November. As of now, there are no plans for an international release.

The official website also lists the measurements of the Slowpoke plush. The first-gen Pokémon is 25 inches high, 29.5 inches wide and 59 inches long. It also weighs around 17 pounds, meaning the plush can also double as a sturdy and adorable pillow.

This water type Pokémon and one time governor of Shikoku Island's Kagawa Prefecture is not the first Pokémon to receive the life-size plushie treatment. Previously, the second-gen Pokémon Furret was made into a one-to-one scale plush measuring 5'11". The international Pokémon mascot Pikachu also received a one-to-one scale plush, weighing roughly 13 pounds and measuring at 40 cm, or nearly 16 inches high.

The release of a human-sized Slowpoke is just one of the many ways Pokémon is celebrating its 25th anniversary. American pop-star Katy Perry recently collaborated with the hugely successful franchise in her new single "Electric", and the Pokémon company has announced several new merchandise items, from Pokémon-themed skateboards to Build-A-Bear collaborations. The official Pokémon YouTube channel also recently announced the video games Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus would all arrive on Nintendo Switch at some point during the 25th anniversary.
