A new leak claims to have revealed numerous new Pokémon entries that will feature in the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

A Bulbagarden forum user named Joker901 shared a graphic on the site which appeared to show 72 new entries. The list includes information on upcoming evolutions of as-yet-unrevealed Pokémon, as well as creatures from previous generations who lack an evolutionary line. Some series mainstays apparently earmarked to get a brand-new evolution include Girafarig, Murkrow, Bisharp and Dunsparce.

The graphic also makes reference to the rumored new classes of Pokémon that will appear in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Popular monsters like Salamance and Gardevoir will seemingly shift to the Ancient and Future category of Pokémon, which will reportedly act like ancestors or descendants of current Pokémon. The "Regional Fakes" class of Pokémon is also mentioned and may include Diglett, Dugtrio and an unnamed water-type Pokémon from Generation 1.

The three new starter Pokémon (Fuecoco, Quaxly and Sprigatito) also appear, though the names of their evolutions do not. The graphic does indicate, however, that the final evolutionary forms of each starter will be dual-typing. Sprigatito's final form will be Grass-Dark, Fuecoco's will be Fire-Ghost and Quaxly's will be Water-Fighting. Fan-favorite and internet sweetheart Lechonk will also apparently get an evolution of some sort.

The typing of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's two legendary Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidon, is also revealed. The former will be Dragon-Fighting whereas their counterpart will be Dragon-Electric. Based on the Japanese origins of the Pokémon names, it is thought that Koraidon will be of the Ancient class and Miraidon will be in the Future class. "Korai" in Japanese means ancient and "mirai" means future.

In the absence of solid information from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's developer, fans have been riding on the tidal wave of leaked information that has been inundating social media for the past few weeks. From reports of an all-new "crystallized" form to the name of the game's region inadvertently appearing online, unverified sources have seemingly revealed plenty about the game ahead of any official announcements.

As fans wait with bated breath for some verified information, the game's eventual release date inches ever closer. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will release on Nov. 18 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
