Legendary Pokémon are the focus of every major film in the franchise, as they are considered some of the most powerful Pokémon in the universe. The Pokémon films are usually made specifically to promote the latest games in the series, as well as the newest season of the anime, and, as a result, these mythical creatures take center stage in most of them.
