Misty, the aspiring water-type Pokémon master, is a popular cosplay to see at any convention. She is easily recognizable since Pokémon is now so popular among multiple generations. She was there at the beginning of Ash's adventure and is now there again in the Sun and Moon series. Of course, she is also present in the games since she is a Gym Leader as well.

Deciding on which cosplays to put into this list was difficult. So we decided to make it a mix of most creative versions and one well-done classical versions of her. Thank you to these wonderful cosplayers, and please check out their pages!

10 Misty With Masterball

It's good to start this list with the classic look for Misty. Here is a cosplay done by California-based cosplayer, Olivea. This is the most common look cosplayers use for their Misty cosplays and why not?

It's Misty's normal outfit, the one she wears in most episodes. It's easy to do as far as cosplays go as well. You just need shorts, suspenders, and a yellow shirt. Of course, some pull it off better than others and this is a really pretty Misty.

9 Decora Misty With Ash

Done by UmiPokeMakeup, this cosplay uses Japanese street fashion called Decora. As you can see from the cosplay photo, it's pretty child-like but different from Lolita. The basics of Decora are bright colors, many layers, and textures.

It's a style that puts a creative twist on this Misty and Ash cosplay. All the hair clips in Misty's hair and the jewel stickers on her face are prime examples of Decora fashion. It's cool to see Ash sporting the look too, since we usually only see girls dress in this style.

8 Misty And Staryu

This photo was so hilarious, we had to put it into this list. The Staryu getting hit by a wave and falling while Misty is freaking out is just adorable. Ryuu Lavtiz has done a ton of cosplays like Raven from Teen Titans, Princess Peach from Mario, and Harely from Batman just to name a few.

Ironically, Ryuu Lavitz posted that her Staryu suffered from severe water damage. Also according to the cosplayer, this photo was taken by her boyfriend so the camera would not get damaged. Cosplayers truly do suffer for their art. (Cosplay by Ryuu Lavitz Cosplay.)

7 Zombie Apocalypse Misty

This creative cosplay was done by Sprinkleme. A lot of love and wit was put into the details. The wittiest of all is the morning Star-mie weapon. Then there is also the piece of Goldeen used for armor. The ghost Pokémon tattoo definitely helps create the mood the cosplay is going for as well.

A zombie apocalypse Pokémon world would create a lot of questions such as will there be zombie Pokémon? Which towns would be doomed and which would be survivable? Also, how did Misty get that scar across her eye?

6 Punk Misty

An easy way to do a fresh and unique cosplay is to just make a goth or punk version of a character. That's what Canadian cosplayer Lynn Unlimited did with Misty, and it rocks. She is Misty, but with a black shirt, spiked collar, and black lipstick. The fact that the shirt is Pokémon related is also a bonus.

Lynn Unlimited did this cosplay for Halloween. "Definitely the rebellious teenage-hood we never got to see," she wrote. "I lowkey love her."

5 Misty's Bike

This hilarious picture was made by Amber Skies Cosplay. To any who are fans of the show, they know that Misty followed Ash across the Kanto region and further because he owed her a bike. At the beginning of the series, he steals it in order to save Pikachu but then ends up breaking it and Misty never lets that go.

If you love this picture, you can actually buy it on the cosplayer's website. Its description reads, "After two decades, the poor girl finally got her bike back-- and then very quickly lost it."

4 Misty's Goldeen Dress

This beautiful cosplay was made and worn by Uncanny Megan. It's Misty in her formal Goldeen dress which was worn in only one episode, "The March of the Exeggutor Squad." It's an episode that takes place at a carnival and Misty is a magician's assistant. So it's not only a creative cosplay idea, but it is an outfit from the actual show.

Uncanny Megan has done a ton of cosplay, including Misty in her regular outfit, Daphne from Scooby Doo, Princess Leia from Star Wars, and other Pokémon characters such as Nurse Joy.

3 Mermaid Misty

This cosplay was inspired by the Pokémon episode, "The Misty Mermaid," where Misty dresses and plays as a mermaid in an underwater ballet. Cosplay was done by Megan Coffey, who is no stranger to mermaids since she has also cosplayed as Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid and has also done some original mermaid characters.

To name a few other cosplays Megan has done, she has also done Junko Enoshima from Danganronpa, Mercy from Overwatch, and other Pokémon characters such as Officer Jenny and Team Rocket's Jessie.

2 Male Misty

We could not find any social media handles, but found that the cosplayer's name is Zeek. This buff man just does not care about body type or gender roles and we love it. He made Misty look like she can suplex an Onix. Who needs water-type Pokémon with those muscles? The way he's posed makes it seem like he's the movie Gladiator.

This photo is like an alternate reality where Gyarados is not the final stage in Misty's team. After beating her, you have to fight Misty herself. Her moves are: Seismic Toss, Bulk Up, Rock Smash, and Strength. Ironically, no water-type moves.

1 Baby Misty

Here is your daily "D'awww." Yes, it's baby Misty! Lifestyle photographer Laura Izumikawa decided to dress her baby girl, Joey Marie Choi,  up in various cosplay and photograph her. The aftermath is cuteness.

Honestly, though, the baby is totally napping through the entire photoshoot. Other outfits the baby wore include Cinderella, Eleven from Strange Things, Jasmine from Aladdin, and Goku from Dragon Ball Z. If you want even more cuteness, check out the photographer's Instagram.
