The video-game-turned-movie Pokémon Detective Pikachu is now available in the form of a graphic novel. This story is an adaption from the film, written by Brian Buccellato -- known for his comic book runs on Flash and Injustice -- now bringing his talents to the world of Pokémon. The graphic novel will bring a new layer to the story and writer Buccellatto credits the artwork by Nelson Dániel for capturing the energy of the film.

Senior Vice President of Legendary Robert Napton said, "Brian's writing and Nelson's art have really captured a depth to the world in which Detective Pikachu and his fellow Pokémon live. We are so excited to expand upon this story, as well as the characters of POKÉMON Detective Pikachu."
