Suzie and Vulpix from Pokemon

Suzie from the episode "Pokémon Fashion Flash" is a girl who put Brock in the friend zone. Despite not giving Brock the time of day, Suzie does find his skills to be superb and compliments Brock on his cooking skills.

Although this pleases Brock and boosts his self-esteem, he does feel disappointed when Suzie denies him becoming her student. After hearing about her feelings for Zane, Brock lets go of his feelings because he enjoys seeing her happy. Even though he didn't win her heart, she did give him her Vulpix.

Wilohema from Pokemon

Wilohema from the episode "For Crying Out Loud" might have come from a wealthy background, but it was her kind and caring personality that interested Brock. Ash and Brock help Wilohema find her Maril, and during their search, Brock potentially wins over her heart by utilizing his romantic speech techniques to ease her stress.

After a brief battle with Team Rocket, Maril reunites with Wilohema, and the two say their goodbyes. However, before she leaves, Wilohema declares that she'd love to see Brock again in the future, showcasing romantic interest in him.

7 COULDN'T: Natalie Because Brock Liked Her Older Sisters More

Natalie from Pokemon

Interestingly enough, Natalie had a small crush on Brock but didn't stand a chance of winning his heart in the episode "The Lotad Lowdown." While seeing Brock show interest in her older sisters instead of her, Natalie heads off on a small quest to obtain a Sitrus Berry to help Brock become a better breeder and win him over.

Brock and Holly from Pokemon

Holly was not only one of Brock's best crushes in the anime, but she was also someone who left wanting to improve herself to gain Brock's affection. In the episode "Tag! We're It...!" Although she doesn't decide to accompany Brock on his journey with Ash and friends, she does leave a message of wanting to meet him again.

5 COULDN'T: Autumn Because She Realizes Brock Only Had Interest In Her Older Sisters

Autumn from Pokemon

Like Natalie, Autumn suffers the fate of Brock falling for other girls in the episode "Tanks for the Memories." Essentially, Autumn is jealous of Brock's love for her older sisters and ends up in a dire situation regarding Beedrills.

Brock saves her from the dangerous Beedrill just as he did with Natalie, which only boosts her affection for him more. After some shenanigans with Team Rocket and some heartwarming scenes with Brock helping Autumn cater to her Milktank, Brock and friends leave the Maid Cafe. Although this episode might be worth skipping, it shows that Brock can unintentionally attract females.

4 LOVED HIM BACK: Lucy Because Brock Reminded Her Of Her Favorite Pokémon

Lucy from Pokemon

A relationship many fans still support today is Brock and Pike Queen Lucy. Not only did Brock win over the affection of a Frontier Brain because he resembled one of her favorite Pokémon, but Lucy loved Brock so much that she decided to battle Ash as a favor for Brock, despite her building being closed that day.

On top of Brock helping Ash gain a match with Lucy, she almost ends up tagging along with them on Ash's Battle Frontier adventure. Unfortunately, May's little brother Max drags Brock away before he can ask her to accompany them.

3 COULDN'T: Lizabeth Because She's A Movie Character Who Probably Will Never Be Seen Again

Lizabeth from Pokemon

Lizabeth was featured in one of the best films in the Pokémon franchise, and of course, she too showcased signs for loving Brock's company. Even when Brock showed off a book that featured many pictures of Lizabeth's performances, Lizabeth never felt annoyed by his affection.

The two were shown in many scenes together, gathering food for Ash and friends and even in relaxing areas where Lizabeth's mother makes a coy comment about Brock teaching Lizabeth how to cook. Despite their relationship never having a reason to end off, ending the movie as a couple would've felt weird to most fans.

2 LOVED HIM BACK: Narissa Because She Valued His Kindness & Training Methods

Narissa from Pokemon

In the Pokemon episode "Dealing With a Fierce Double Ditto Drama," Narissa was all talk and no action but later gained guidance from Brock. Although she comes across as arrogant and bashful, Narissa reveals that her tough persona was only an act to hide her naivety for Pokémon battling.

After receiving training from Brock, she starts developing feelings for him. Despite her not losing her feelings for Brock and being coy about her wanting him to accompany her on her journey, she loses interest in him after seeing him flirt with another female.

1 COULDN'T: Gardenia Because She Adored Grass-Type Pokémon More Than Him

Brock and Gardenia from Pokemon

Gardenia was a Gym Leader just like Brock, though she couldn't quite reciprocate his feelings. Despite having a weird love with Grass-type Pokémon to the point where she sides with Team Rocket because of Jame's Carnivine and Cacnea, Brock didn't let that stop him from trying to win over her heart.

Even when Gardenia surrounds herself with children, Brock doesn't hesitate to flirt with her and states that their relationship could end up in a Hamlet-like way. He poured his heart out to her with every chance he got, but Gardenia showed little interest in Brock.
