The following article contains spoilers for Poison Ivy #6, available from DC Comics.

Pamela Isley finds herself not just killing, but fully consuming, notorious DC villain Jason Woodrue in DC's Poison Ivy #6.

Poison Ivy #6 comes from writer G. Willow Wilson, artists Marcio Takara, Brian Level, Jay Leisten and Arif Prianto and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. In Poison Ivy #4, Pamela -- who is slowly being consumed by a parasitic fungus -- began having nightmares about Jason Woodrue, a character created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane who first appeared in 1962's The Atom #1 and is sometimes known as the Floronic Man, Seeder, the Green Man or a host of other names. In Poison Ivy #5, Pamela has a hallucinogenic flashback to the moment Jason injected her with poisons that turned her into Poison Ivy before she walks into the villain's old laboratory and the two characters meet face-to-face. The issue further revealed defeating Jason would be no simple task, as Pamela infects and seemingly kills him with a parasite, only for the villain to rebuild himself with healing powers right before her very eyes.

Poison Ivy Just Murdered -- and Ate -- a Classic DC Villain

In Poison Ivy #6, Jason attempts to get Poison Ivy to slit her own throat; however, she stops herself when the Green Man threatens to go after Harley Quinn next. Using her powers, Poison Ivy breaks free of Jason's control and defeats the villain, though she doesn't stop there. "Sitting here with you, I realize I can get to the real bad guys," Pamela tells Jason. "And I will. One by one, I will eat them alive." Wanting to absorb Jason's regenerative powers in order to heal herself from the fungus while also ensuring the Green Man doesn't make a return anytime soon, Pamela proceeds to eat the villain piece by piece. "I do what I have to do," she narrates. "People say eat the rich. But nobody ever does it. I'm just saying, maybe we should."
