It's been 22 years since Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Tim Burton made a permanent impression with Beetlejuice and, despite rumors and finished scripts to the contrary, a sequel has never quite come together.

But now, Moviehole has discovered that two of the movie's stars, Geena Davis and Beetlejuice himself, Keaton, would be interested in reprising their roles if offered, with Keaton saying "I'd do that in a heartbeat... That's the only [sequel] I'd love to do."

As a massive fan of the original movie - Slapstick! Fart jokes! Harry Belafonte! - I would dearly, dearly love to see a Beetlejuice 2. D'you think we can convince Tim Burton, if we promise to let him film it in 3D and have a Johnny Depp cameo?
