From entries in beloved franchises to story-driven adventures, this month's six additions have a lot to offer players. Here's what you should know about the games coming to PlayStation Now in February.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III

PS Now subscribers can now enjoy the 2015 entry in the iconic first-person shooter franchise. Call of Duty: Black Ops III takes place 20 years after its predecessor in a dark future where technology and climate change threaten humanity. The game features a variety of solo, co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, including a campaign and Zombies, which swaps the cybernetic for the supernatural.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be available on PS Now until April 29, 2021.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

Following the controversial WWE 2K20 and the cancellation of WWE 2K21, 2K instead released WWE 2K Battlegrounds, an arcade-style wrestling game that abandons the realism of other entries in the franchise in favor of exaggerated matches in a cartoony art style. Battlegrounds is kind of game where wrestlers spin opponents over their heads and hit each other with motorcycles. It also features a massive and expanding roster of WWE superstars past and present.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds will be available on PlayStation Now until August 2, 2021.

Detroit: Become Human

Three main characters in Detroit: Become Human game

Developer Quantic Dream's most successful release to date, Detroit: Become Human is a narrative-driven adventure that follows three androids: Kara, Connor and Markus. The game explores what it means to be human through these characters, their unique perspectives and their choices, which impact their fates, as well as the world they live in. It's a thought-provoking game that allows, and even encourages, players to revisit their choices.

Darksiders Genesis

The latest entry in the hack-and-slash RPG series about the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Darksiders Genesis allows players to control Strife or War. The spin-off prequel sees the brothers on a quest to save humanity from the demonic king Lucifer, setting the stage for later games. The two characters offer different playstyles, with Strife wielding two guns and War using a sword, encouraging players to switch between them or team up with a friend for co-op play.

Little Nightmares

Little Nightmares

Just in time for the game's sequel, which launches this month, the original Little Nightmares is coming to PS Now. Described as a "dark whimsical tale," this is a horror game that is all about confronting childhood fears through puzzles and platforming. It follows Six, a young girl in a yellow raincoat who must escape The Maw while equipped with just a lighter. The unnerving game has become a modern horror classic, differentiating itself from the rest of the genre by being a bit brighter, but no less disturbing.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

Finally, there's Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, the series' conclusion that takes place both before and after its predecessor. The topdown shooter is all about violence and retribution, with various factions you'll come into contact with over the course of the game. Wrong Number tells an engaging story the features interesting characters with unique and useful abilities, making it a great follow up to the beloved original.
