Disney and video games are not strangers to each other. Disney has made its own video games and has done a crossover with Square Enix to make the famous Kingdom Hearts series.

For fan artists, Disney can be an interesting way to view a video game character differently. Depending on the character, the Disney-style can be ironic or quite fitting. Either way, it is cool to see. Here are ten characters from Playstation games that artists have re-imagined in a Disney-style.

10 Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock Infinite would definitely be too mature and violent for a Disney film, but Elizabeth and Booker look natural in the art-style. In a way, Elizabeth is quite like a Disney princess in that she is sort of trapped in a tower and has powers. Her behavior at the beginning of the game is actually very Rapunzel-like, as she is very curious about the world around her.

The line art for this piece was done by felitomkinson and the rest was done by Hitokirisan.

9 God Of War

Turning Kratos into a Disney-style character is ironic since he is one of the most violent video game characters to exist. He has killed friends, enemies, family members, and has done a lot of other kinds of damage to people. In this fan art, he actually looks a little human and dorky due to the facial expression and style.

The drawing was done by the talented AtomiccircuS, who is based in Norway. According to him, this piece depicts Kratos before the ashes of his family became one with his skin. That is why he is not as pale as a sheet, like in most of the games.

8 Cullen From Dragon Age

The artist for this piece, Shynmighty, excels at turning video game characters into Disney characters. They have done a number of Dragon Age characters, Mass Effect characters, and characters from Skyrim in this style.

Dragon Age is a great game series to put in a Disney-style. The characters are dramatic and whimsical and Cullen is the pinnacle of a typical Disney prince in Inquisition. Other characters that fit into Disney would be Josephine, Alistair, Leliana (in Origins), and Vivienne.

7 Final Fantasy VII

The varying shapes and styles between the cast of Final Fantasy VII in this art is amazing. They look like they could appear in Big Hero 6. The age differences between the characters are much more pronounced and their heights are incredibly varied.

The artist, ZedEdge, wrote in the description, "My brother just posed the idea of Final Fantasy characters in a CG Disney film and I just copied what appeared in my head."

6 The Last Of Us

The artist, imajanaeshun, depicts Joel at the beginning and end of The Last of Us with these two pictures. At the beginning of the game, Joel loses his daughter to gunshot wounds. It's a very emotional beginning to the game.

In the end, he becomes attached to another girl named Ellie. However, she is going to be sacrificed to find a cure for the virus that destroyed society. He decides to kill everyone involved in order to let her live, instead. The game itself is definitely not Disney material, but the artist really did well bringing these characters into the Disney style.

5 Mass Effect

This is another piece done by Shynmighty, the same artist who made the Cullen fan art. This art is not Dragon Age though but from the Bioware game Mass Effect. The games are similar in terms of making your own protagonist and completing quests with interesting companions. Their biggest difference is the genre, as Dragon Age is fantasy and Mass Effect is science fiction.

This particular fan art shows the companion, Liara, fighting the Shadow Broker which is in DLC in the second game.

4 Skyrim

This is the third and final piece on this list that was made by Shynmighty. This is not a Bioware title though, but a Bethesda game: Skyrim.

The two characters are the main protagonist, the Dragonborn, and Ulfric Stormcloak. He can be the main antagonist depending the players' choices. Some players do ship the protagonist and him together because they both have the Shout ability. However, he is not available to marry like other NPCs in the game.

3 Sly Cooper

Sly Cooper doesn't get much fan art, so the internet is blessed to have this image made by littlepolka. They not only drew the characters as little kids, but also gave them a Disney-like style. It's as though these characters could have appeared in Disney's version of Robin Hood with its anthropomorphic characters.

The artist made this piece after beating all four games.

2 Aladdin Meets Assassin's Creed

This adorable crossover shows an assassin from Assassin's Creed trying to escape the guard and meeting Aladdin on the way. Both of them are on the run, but for very different reasons. While Aladdin stole a loaf of bread, this assassin likely just killed someone. Both are used to running from guards and use a lot of parkour talent to do it.

The fan art was created by Finland-based artist, JessKat-art. In the description, the artist mentions that a lot of people say she draws in a Disney-style for her regular Assassin's Creed fan art, so that inspired her to make this crossover.

1 Tomb Raider

This actually is not exactly Lara Croft. It is Jane from Tarzan dressed as her. In the Disney style though, the two characters can be indistinguishable.

The art was made by IsaiahStephens as part of a collection of various Disney characters dressing up for Halloween. Other characters they have done include Tiana dressed as Korra from The Legend of Korra, Rapunzel dressed as Sailor Moon, Snow White as Wonder Woman, Wendy as Princess Leia, and many more.
