Platinum Developing Alien At Large

Platinum Studios is looking to follow the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens with an adaptation of Alien at Large, its 2008 graphic novel.

The company will develop the sci-fi comedy with Practical Pictures, which is producing American Reunion, the latest installment of the American Pie series, with Universal Pictures.

Created and written by Bob Keenan and illustrated by Rich Larson, Alien at Large centers on Earth's first interstellar ambassador, Boxavo Tan, who possesses the uncanny ability to turn any situation into a catastrophe. But his arrival unwittingly disrupts an alien conspiracy, possibly saving the planet.
