Signaling that the trailer is imminent, Pixar has released a teaser poster for "Finding Dory," the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2003 blockbuster "Finding Nemo."

The underwater image offers a glimpse of Dory (voiced again by Ellen DeGeneres), accompanied by line "She just kept swimming," a nod to a fan-favorite quote from the first film.

Announced in April 2013, "Finding Dory" is set six months after the events of the 2003 original, as the amnesiac Dory suddenly recalls memories of her childhood and sets off with Nemo and Marlin to reunite with her family.

Andrew Stanton returns to write and co-direct, alongside Angus MacLane. DeGeneres is joined in the voice cast by Albert Brooks, Hayden Rolence, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson, Ed O'Neill and Willem Dafoe.

"Finding Dory" opens June 27, 2016.
