Over the years, Pixar and Disney films have provided audiences with incredible villains for the big screen. And while Pixar films create villains that are usually rooted in reality, Disney's villains don't always go that way. The villains in Pixar tend to be harmful because of what they do to their protagonist's spirit, while villains in Disney seek to completely destroy the hero or heroine.

Pixar villains are often redeemed and, having seen the error of their ways, there is a redemption that's not often found in Disney pictures. So, while Pixar and Disney films both have incredible villains, some stronger and out for more blood than the others, this is 5 Pixar Villains Who Could Take 5 Disney Villains (&  5 Who Couldn’t).

10 Could: Charles F. Muntz Vs. Cruella De Vil

Aside from being evenly matched as destructive characters, they're also evil in a bad human way. Muntz (of Up), at first, appears to be an amiable character. As an adventurer and archaeologist who is loved by those closest to him and those who follow his work, he becomes bad when he gets shafted by members of the scientific community for his findings (and goes to evil lengths to clear his name).

And Cruella De Vil (of 101 Dalmations) is a rich socialite who always gets what she wants. So, even though De Vil has the money to buy anything she would need to face him, she only knows yes-people and would be ill-prepared in a fight with this super-smart antagonist.

9 Could Not: Henry J. Waternoose, III Vs. Ursula

Even though both seemed helpful and even paternal at first (especially Henry J. Waternoose, III) to their respective protagonists, there is a major difference that would leave Waternoose (of Monster's Inc.) unevenly matched if he were to face-off against Ursula (of The Little Mermaid).

Ursula is a sea sorceress who can use magic to destroy Waternoose very easily, while Waternoose is a self-serving villain who only has his mouth and his quickly dwindling funds.

8 Could: Mor'Du Vs. Scar

As menacing, conniving, and sneaky as Scar (of The Lion King) is, Mor' du (of Brave) is more dangerous; Mor'du is violent, bloodthirsty, and ruthless. He doesn't hide his evil, and he's physically the most scary-looking villain Pixar has produced.

Scar is evil is in how underhanded and manipulative he is (to his brother, his nephew, and everyone who doesn't serve his interests), but Mor' du is extremely aggressive and murderous in an outright way. So, while Scar could try to win the fight through a battle of wits, Mor' du would just kill him as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

7 Could Not: Sidney "Sid" Phillips Vs. Count Frollo

Although Sid (of Toy Story) and Count Frollo (of The Hunchback of Notre Dame) are evenly matched in their temperament (as both characters are abusive, aggressive, violent, and cruel in their treatment of the main protagonists in their story), Sid is still a kid.

He would lose against Count Frollo because he doesn't have the tools or resources required to match him. Sid would quake in fear, but Frollo would throw him in the Notre Dame to live with Quasimodo.

6 Could: Chef Skinner Vs. Lady Tremaine

Lady Tremaine (of Cinderella) is a user and an opportunist who Chef Skinner (of Ratatouille) matches in spirit and in mindset; since neither Skinner nor Tremaine have any superpowers, it would be down to who could do the most damage to the other through reputation or through livelihood (as both are more inclined to destroy lives rather than kill outright).

It would be easy to imagine Tremaine dirtying Skinner's reputation and Skinner doing the same. Skinner could take her, though.

5 Could Not: Hopper Vs. The Queen of Hearts

Hopper (of A Bug's Life) seems intimidating and powerful in the film, but he would be easy to beat. Hopper is the commander of an army of bugs; though he leads with force, and thinks nothing of killing ants, he could be easily squashed, in every way, by The Queen of Hearts (of Alice in Wonderland).

While both villains kill, Hopper is killing ants whiled The Queen of Hearts has had humans beheaded. Facing off against the Queen of Hearts would put Hopper out of his league.

4 Could: Randall Boggs Vs. The Big Bad Wolf

In a fight, where Randall Boggs (of Monsters Inc.), a greedy, sneaky, and ruthless antagonist, takes on The Big Bad Wolf (of Three Little Pigs), all money should be on Randall. While The Big Bad Wolf seems to have some backing to him because he puts fear into the pig's and comes up with schemes to nab them, he's conniving and self-serving without the smarts required to reach his goal.

Randall, similarly to The Big Bad Wolf, doesn't care at all about who he has to run over to get what he wants, and his evilness comes with a lot more smarts and skill.

3 Could Not: Syndrome Vs. Maleficent

Buddy "Syndrome" Pine (of The Incrediblesthinks he's powerful, but he is more talk than a true supervillain. Being rejected as Mr. Incredible's sidekick left such a bad taste in his mouth that he sought to punish Mr. Incredible for it.

But if he was facing off against Maleficent (of Sleeping Beauty), a black magic sorceress, and a woman who can transform herself into a dragon, he wouldn't stand a chance.

2 Could: Lotso Vs. Honest John

Don't let the harmless look of him fool you; Lotso (of Toy Story 3is bad news. He used to be a big deal toy (along with two others) but his kids' parent's replaced him after he was accidentally left at a rest stop. And thus, the bitter, vindictive, and iron-fist ruling Lotso surfaced.

In a battle against Honest John (of Pinocchio) he would win because while Honest John is a swindler, a thief, and a crafty fellow, Lotso is embittered enough by the rejection of his kid that he'd cook up some scheme to overtake him.

1 Could Not: Auto Vs. The Horned King

Auto or Autopilot (of Wall-E), a cold and directive-following machine, is inflexible and that gives him a serious vulnerability.

If he were to fight against The Horned King (of The Black Cauldron), a villain who can think on his feet and for himself, he would be too busy looking for orders to know what to do. He would be destroyed easily by the Horned King and his army.
