We now have our first look at Tom Holland and Chris Pratt's CG-animated characters in the upcoming Disney-Pixar film Onward.

Holland plays reticent, gawky younger brother Ian, while Pratt portrays his rip-roaring, slightly more enterprising older brother, who is currently unnamed. Additionally, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who's seen in the second photo, provides the voice of the pair's mother.

Onward is set in an alternate version of our world where humans don’t exist and fantasy creatures run rampant. The brothers embark on a thrilling quest “to see if there’s a little magic left.”

In classic Pixar fashion, writer/director Dan Scanlon describes the feature as comedic and rambunctious, but also emotionally affective. “I absolutely hope that people are laughing their heads off and crying their eyes out," he told People. "My hope is some of the questions that I’m asking in the film will be questions other people are asking about their own lives. And I think that’s what a lot of the times gets us to connect to a movie.”
