Last week, series Executive Producer Seth Rogen continued his teasing of the forthcoming television adaptation of "Preacher" by tweeting a first glimpse of Jesse Custer's signature preacher collar and metal collar tips.

While the image stops short of providing the first clear look at star Dominic Cooper as Custer, it does indicate that the show is doing its best to hew close to the source material, at least in so far as how it translates their comic book likenesses to live action. Previous photos have included a look at Jesse's cigarettes of choice, and a shadowy glimpse of Jesse and Arseface, in the latter's bedroom.

"Preacher," based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's acclaimed comic, stars Cooper as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as Jesse's ex-girlfriend Tulip, Joseph Gilgun as his vampire friend Cassidy, Ian Colletti as Arseface and Lucy Griffiths as Emily, a character created for the TV show.

Rogen developed "Preacher" for AMC along side Evan Goldberg, who also serves as co-director on the pilot. The pair also directed the feature films "This Is The End" and "The Interview." "Breaking Bad" alum Sam Catlin will serve as showrunner for the series and also scripted the pilot. "Preacher" is currently filming in New Mexico.
