In 2019's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man  #1, Peter swoops in and saves a father and daughter from their car before it explodes. When the father asks Spider-Man how he can pay him back Spider-Man responds by telling him about Jose, Gracie and Miguel.

These are 3 of the cities less fortunate, 2 of them are homeless vets and the other is a runaway and Peter takes the time to get to know them and makes sure they are taken care of. Now that is mighty neighborly.

9 Worldly: When The Planet is Threatened, He Answers The Call

As part of a tie in to Secret EmpireOtto Octavius' Superior Octopus attacked Parker Industries in hopes of gaining access to the world's bank records, addresses, and every dirty little secret people have. Rather than let the world's safety be compromised, Peter gave the order to destroy Parker Industries, saving the world, but bankrupting himself and destroying his reputation...again.

8 Neighborly: He Will Always Chose Saving Lives Over Stopping Bad Guys

In 2008, Mr. Negative, who was the main villain of the Playstation exclusive Marvel's Spider-Man, was Spider-Man's newest villain. In The Amazing Spider-Man #548, Mr. Negative was out to kill all the members of the Maggia family, including their children. When Mr.Negative held a knife to one child's throat and then threw her in the river, Spider-Man dove into the water to save her. He may have let the bad guy escape, but it was more important to Peter that he saves the life of a child.

7 Worldly: He Gives His All For Everyone

In 2005, Marvel came out with House of Man event series where Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, transformed reality to put mutants on top of the food chain. In this reality, she gave everyone exactly what they wanted, which meant Peter had a family. When the heroes started realizing something was wrong, they gave Peter his memories back. He broke down, realizing saving the world rarely means you get what you want, but suits up and saves reality none the less.

5 Worldly: He Will Fight For The World He Believes In, Even Against Friends

When the superheroes of the world were tearing each other apart in Civil War, Spider-Man was having his own internal civil war. He started out with Tony, going Pro-Registration, but he slowly decided he was on the wrong side.

He joined Captain America and fought toe-to-toe with people he considered friends for his beliefs and for the world of heroes. They lost that battle but he continued fighting from in hiding until they proved victorious.

4 Neighborly: He Never Loses Sight Of Helping People

In issue #1, Peter announces the Uncle Ben Foundation, a fund that is set up to help out the "less fortunate and raise the quality of life." No act by a CEO could be more like the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man than that one.

3 Worldly: He Saves Multiple Worlds and Multiple Spider-People

Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost-Spider, Spider-Ham and more unite in Spider-Verse

Spider-Man has had a lot of dangerous foes, but at the top of that list is Morlun. In 2014's Spider-Verse, which recently had a movie by the same name starring Miles Morales, Peter, and other versions of him from across the multiverse fight to stop Morlun and his family from devouring all of the Spider-People. Peter helps organize and recruit the Spiders from all the planets to come together and defeat Morlun. They are successful, saving the multiverse from the destruction of their species.

2 Neighborly: He Will Sacrifice Personal Happiness For Other People's Well Being

Amazing Spider-Man Peter's deal with Mephisto

During Civil War, Spider-Man revealed his identity to the world as part of the Superhero Registration Act. This, of course, went instantly bad for him. In Amazing Spider-Man #538, Aunt May was shot, putting her in critical condition. This caused Peter to go on an angry rampage across the city, but eventually lead him to make a deal with the devil, Mephisto.

Peter and MJ agreed to give up their life together and love for each other in order to bring Aunt May back from certain death. This story is rightfully controversial but at the very least Peter was willing to give up his biggest happiness, his love for MJ, in order to save the woman who made him the man he was.

1 Worldly: He Saves Everybody's World

What makes Peter Parker such an Amazing Spider-Man is that he saves the world on the large scale, but he also finds a way to save each person's individual world. In the touching story of Amazing Spider-Man #801, We follow a man who was saved by Spider-Man and it changed his life. Then we see him explain to his niece that Spider-Man saves the world every day because the people be save mean the world to someone. It is a unique perspective on saving the world but rings true regardless.
