House of Cards alum Ellen Burstyn and Late Night star Emma Thompson are headed to Neverland. The two Academy Award-winning actors have joined the cast of The Lost Girls, a female-led adaption of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan.

According to Deadline, the two women will work alongside Livia De Paolis, who is directing and starring in the film as Wendy Darling. Burstyn will play De Paolis' grandmother, while Thompson will portray the younger actor's mother in a cameo role. Thompson’s daughter Gaia Wise (A Walk In The Woods) is also set to star.

Based on the novel by Laurie Fox, The Lost Girls will chronicle the trials of four generations of Darling women as they try to move on from their adventures with Peter Pan. When Pan sets his eyes on Wendy's daughter (Wise), the young woman must fight to save her relationship with her child.

Livia De Paolis last appeared in Emoticon ;), which she also directed and wrote.
