Hidden away on the newest poster for Avengers: Infinity War is confirmation that Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) will play a role in the film.

It's unknown at this time what role the actor will portray in the Marvel Studios film, and whether or not he will appear in-person or provide his voice talents.

In January came word that Dinklage was “in early talks” to join the cast of Infinity War for a “key role.” The role had yet to be specified and remains that way now. However, his name is located at the bottom of the newest poster with the remaining cast members.

An early speculation was a new haircut for Dinklage would lead the actor to play Pip the Troll, the Marvel Comics character that debuted in 1975’s “Strange Tales” #179. The creation of Jim Starlin, who also created or co-created such characters as Thanos, Drax the Destroyer and Gamora, Pip is most often associated with the fan-favorite Adam Warlock, for whom he serves as a comedic foil.

Of course, another possibility is Dinklage could provide the voice for one of the members of Thanos' Black Order, which include Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian.

Dinklage is one of few actors set to appear in Infinity War that hasn’t already made their big-screen debut. Said to include almost all of the Marvel heroes we’ve seen on the big-screen thus far — from Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, of course — the film is likely to feature the first major showdown with Josh Brolin’s Thanos, who made his debut in the universe way back in The Avengers' first post-credit scene.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 27.
