Pedro Pascal has been a part of some big franchises in both movies and television, including Game of Thrones, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Wonder Woman 1984. The latter now puts him in the crosshairs of DC fans. With these three badges fastened to his belt, Pascal took the time to discuss his experiences with the fandoms.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pascal said, "My first introduction to some serious fans was Game of Thrones. I was doing a play in New York when the episodes that I was in were airing, and I gradually started to get noticed in my regular New York routine on the train drinking my coffee."

In GOT Pascal played Oberyn Martell, the Prince of Dorne who held a grudge against the Lannisters, specifically Tywin, believing that he was responsible for his sister Elia's death. Pascal is remembered for one of the most gruesome scenes in GOT history when he fights in a trial by combat against Gregor Clegane, known fittingly as "The Mountain," which ends in the character's death.

"I'd been told about the DC fans and I can't wait to get more of an impression once the movie comes out," said Pascal. The actor plays master manipulator Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984, which was released on HBO Max Christmas Day. His inspiration for the character came from Nicolas Cage and his use of "schm-acting," which was quite the departure from his terse and subdued role as Mando in the Star Wars universe.

Pascal also recounted his first interaction with Star Wars fans at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago after the cast of The Mandalorian was first announced. He said, "I remember stepping out onto that stage and it was like being on the receiving end of a jet. It was just awash of like cheer and I thought, 'I could get used to this.'"

The Mandalorian has become a beloved addition to the Star Wars universe. The Emmy-award winning series won over many fans with Baby Yoda, but Pascal's contributions are notable, as viewers follow the bounty hunter on a journey of self-discovery -- even if his face is hardly ever shown.
