The first download figures have been released for NBCUniversal's new streaming service Peacock.

According to intelligence firm Sensor Tower, Peacock was downloaded approximately 1.5 million times in the U.S. App Store and Google Play in its first six days of release. By comparison, over the same period of time, Quibi was downloaded 1.2 million times while Disney+ was downloaded 13 million times.

Meanwhile, Peacock has fallen quickly on the iPhone App Store. On its first two days of release, it secured the top spot on the service. However, it's now #26 among non-game apps. Peacock has, however, shown more retention on Google Play, where it still ranks #1 among all non-game apps.

Peacock hails from NBCUniversal. Having launched on July 15, it features numerous original TV shows such as Brave New World and Intelligence, as well as revivals of beloved programs like Saved by the Bell. Peacock also has a library of classic film and TV programming ranging from Monk to Cheers to Shrek.

Three versions of Peacock are now available to the general public; a free, ad-based tier, a premium tier with ads for $4.99/month and an ad-free premium tier for $9.99/month.
