The Suicide Squad star revealed that he too is a fan of John Cena.

Actor and WWE Champion John Cena showed fans Christopher Smith/Peacemaker's pad while being interviewed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Cena confirmed he was on the set of the upcoming HBO Max series, Peacemaker, and was showing off the inside of his character's home, which includes a massive John Cena action figure in the background.

"Peacemaker is like the polar opposite of Bruce Wayne," he told Fallon. "Bruce Wayne is a billionaire with a Bat-cave, and I live in a single-wide." When he was asked by Fallon to describe Peacemaker, Cena replied, "I would say douche-y, bro-y, Captain America."

Based on the video, it seems Peacemaker also owns a toy dinosaur, a trash-filled dartboard, a mini-jukebox, several lamps and surround sound speakers in his single-wide home.

Peacemaker's character will make his live-action debut in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. Gunn was inspired during the COVID-19 pandemic to expand the antihero's story into an eight-episode season for HBO Max. He previously stated, "Five months ago, while quarantining, I started writing a TV series, mostly for fun, in between Guardians drafts and cutting The Suicide Squad," Gunn explained. "I wrote the first season of Peacemaker in eight weeks. And now, here I am, on the first day of shooting. Life is surreal."

Gunn will direct Peacemaker's pilot episode and several of its episodes as well.

While the plot for the Christopher Smith-centered series is being kept secret, Gunn previously stated that the show "is an opportunity to delve into current world issues through the lens of this superhero/supervillain/and world’s biggest douchebag."

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad stars Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Michael Rooker as Savant, Flula Borg as Javelin, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Mayling NG as Mongal, Peter Capaldi as The Thinker, Alice Braga as Solsoria, Steve Agee as King Shark, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Nathan Fillion as TDK, Sean Gunn as Weasel, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, John Cena as Peacemaker, Taika Waititi and Storm Reid.
