A collection of Funko Pops! based on James Gunn's HBO Max original series Peacemaker is on the way.Pictures of the collection were shared by Funko Pop! with the caption, "Give peace a chance." The new toys capture the hilarity and raunchiness of the show; one depicts Christopher Smith/Peacemaker posing in his underwear, while another shows Vigilante inappropriately wielding a chainsaw. Along with a figure of Judomaster, there are a few wholesome figures as well, including a Funko Pop! of Eagly patriotically waving an American flag while another has the animal sidekick giving Peacemaker a hug. The Peacemaker Funko Pops! are currently available for preorder at GameStop.RELATED: Peacemaker Creator James Gunn Wants to Direct a Musical

The Peacemaker Funko Pops! aren't the only official collectibles for the series that are currently available for preorder, as Hot Toys will soon release a sixth-scale figure of the antihero. Standing at 12.4 inches tall, the Peacemaker figurine comes equipped with the character's "Sonic Boom" helmet as well as an ax and sword. It retails for $275 and is expected to ship sometime between May and July 2023.

Set after the events of 2021's The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker stars John Cena as the titular antihero as he is forced to join a mysterious black-ops squad to hunt down individuals who have been taken over by the parasitic Butterflies. The spinoff series made its debut earlier this year, and while many fans initially considered Peacemaker to be "the worst character in The Suicide Squad," audience opinion surrounding him has definitely shifted.

"I had to deal with many people telling me to f**k off. And now, I'm getting so many thank you messages," Cena explained. "People are excited about the season and looking forward to Season 2. So what a difference a great human being like James Gunn, our great cast, and eight episodes can make."

Peacemaker has since been renewed for a second season. However, Gunn made it clear long before the series premiered on HBO Max that he wanted Peacemaker to last for multiple seasons. "You know, there's not a big plan in place, but again, it's something that I would love to do and I know that the cast would love to do," the showrunner said in August 2021. "So we're all, you know, we haven't been picked up yet. So we'll just have to see what happens from HBO Max."

Fans have already begun to speculate about which characters from the comic books could make appearances in the new season, including The Atom, Blue Beetle and Green Lantern. Moreover, Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor on Smallville, has stated that he wants to reprise his supervillain role in Peacemaker as well.

Season 1 of Peacemaker is available to stream on HBO Max.
