HBO Max's Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker has found a new Vigilante in the form of Harry Potter alum Freddie Stroma.

Per Deadline, Stroma has boarded the cast of Peacemaker as Adrian Chase/Vigilante. Stroma replaces actor Chris Conrad, who was originally slated to play Vigilante in Peacemaker, but has now left the project due to creative differences.

The London-born Stroma currently stars as Jake Martin on Netflix's The Crew, which premiered earlier this year, though is perhaps best known for his exploits in the Wizarding World, having portrayed Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Stroma has also appeared in episodes of Bridgerton, Grand Hotel and Game of Thrones.

Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Adrian Chase first appeared in New Teen Titans #23, which was published by DC Comics back in 1982. Deadline describes the character as a "hand-to-hand combatant," as well as a "brilliant marksman and a master of the lariat" who "was a New York City DA who sought justice in his own way as his alter ego [Vigilante] after his wife and kids were killed by mobsters."
