Peacemaker series creator James Gunn revealed how many episodes of the upcoming John Cena-led HBO Max DC Extended Universe series will include post-credits scenes.

Replying to a question on Twitter, Gunn delighted fans by confirming "every episode" of the show will feature an extra scene after the credits. "It's my way to give you guys a little something special for watching the credits of our hardworking crew," he added.

This wasn't the only important bit of news about Peacemaker Gunn recently shared on Twitter -- the filmmaker also used his account to give fans a sneak peek at Judomaster. The character, who will be played by actor Nhut Le, was first seen in Peacemaker's official trailer, released during this year's DC FanDome virtual convention in October.

Earlier in 2021, Gunn explained why he felt Peacemaker could be a multi-season series. "At the end of The Suicide Squad, [Idris Elba's] Bloodsport learns a lot. He's a better person than he was at the beginning," Gunn said. "A lot of the characters are much better than they were at the beginning, and Peacemaker has a lot to learn."

Gunn also gave an answer to why Peacemaker was chosen of all the Suicide Squad characters to get a spinoff show, citing the antihero's lack of a complete story arc in the film when compared to his Task Force X teammates. "In the movie... Harley [Quinn] gets a really complete story about herself, she gets a complete arc," Gunn said. "Bloodsport gets a complete story. Rick Flag gets a complete story. Ratcatcher 2 gets a complete story. They all learn something about themselves -- sometimes good things, sometimes bad things -- but Peacemaker is a douche and he stays a douche and he's an asshole in the movie. But I think there's something below that."

Outside of Peacemaker, Gunn confirmed he was working on another DC Comics-related project, though he didn't specify which property was the subject of said project. DC Films President Walter Hamada recently said Gunn will continue to be part of the DCEU in the years to come. "Gunn is always welcome back, whatever he wants to do," Hamada remarked. "He really has a vision and he's a great partner with us. Whenever he wants to come back, we're ready for him. He'll be back. We have more stuff planned."

Peacemaker arrives on HBO Max on Jan. 13, 2022, as one of the most anticipated series of the year.
