Paul Rudd will appear in the final season of NBC's Parks and Recreation, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The Ant-Man star will return for two episodes, reprising his Season 4 role as Bobby Newport, the spoiled and stunted Sweetums heir who ran against Leslie Knope for a seat on Pawnee City Council.
"He's the world's nicest human being -- and the funniest," Parks executive producer Michael schur said of Rudd. "We made a list of all the people that we wanted to have back and he was high on the list, so we managed to snag him." The circumstances of Newport's return remain a bit of a mystery. "Ben [Adam Scott] needs to fill a certain position and he thinks that Bobby might be a good candidate." Considering Newport's low level of aptitude, we can only guess that position is Pawnee's Director of Wii Bowling.
The final season of Parks and Rec, which begins Jan. 13, also features return appearances by Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe, Megan Mullally, Natalie Morales and Jon Hamm.
