Ant-Man and The Wasp is gearing up for its 2018 release after recently wrapping production, and now actor Paul Rudd has given fans another look at his brand-new suit.
In a recent HBO charity video, Rudd donned the new suit on-set to answer some questions from fans. This is the third version of the Ant-Man suit fans have seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far. The first appeared in 2015's Ant-Man, which saw Scott Lang make use of Hank Pym's old suit. Lang donned a more up to date, hi-tech version of the suit in last year's Captain America: Civil War. This third iteration will appear in next year's Ant-Man sequel.
Rudd isn't the only actor who will be wearing a brand-new suit, as Evangeline Lilly's character Hope van Dyne is set to become The Wasp. The sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man picks up with Lang following the events of Captain America: Civil War, as Hope and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) present him with a new mission. Hope follows in her mother’s footsteps to become the new Wasp.
Debuting in theaters on July 6, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp is a production of Marvel Studios directed by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park and Walton Goggins.
