Marvel Studios unveiled the first full trailer for "Ant-Man" during tonight's two-hour premiere of "Agent Carter" on ABC. The footage arrives after the "ant-sized" and "human-sized" teaser trailers that were released last week to build up tonight's big reveal of the little hero.

The trailer dropped near the tail-end of the two-hour "Agent Carter" block, featuring footage of Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) workshop, Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) brandishing a firearm and plenty of flashing red and blue lights. We get our first look at Paul Rudd as the effortlessly charming ex-con Scott Lang and see him transform into a full-fledged Marvel movie hero. The footage also included our first look at Cassie Lang, Ant-Man's young daughter and possible impetus for his transformation into a hero with a "huh"-inducing codename.

Director Peyton Reed stepped last year in following the departure of original helmer Edgar Wright. The "Carter"/"Ant-Man" connection doesn't end here; Hayley Atwell's secret agent also has a part to play in the film, most likely in the segments set in the 1960s.

"Ant-Man" is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17. You can check out the full trailer below.
