Paul Feig Reveals the New 'Ghostbusters' Costume

Director Paul Feig revealed via twitter the new costumes for his upcoming "Ghostbusters" film starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones -- and they look pretty much like one would expect: like the uniforms of exterminators or some sort of cosmonaut.

References aside, the new costumes definitely resemble the ones from the original 1984 "Ghostbusters" while still having a slightly different feel. The boots and gloves are the same but the outfit itself has a darker color scheme and some horizontal stripes running across the top.

Filming for the new "Ghostbusters" has already begun, and while we've seen some on-set photos, this is the first look we're getting at what the uniforms look like. The film centers at first on McCarthy and Wiig's characters, authors of a book claiming ghosts are in fact real that find themselves laughing stocks in the academic community. They eventually meet up with McKinnon and Jones' characters and set out to prove the existence of ghosts -- presumably by 'busting them.

Directed by Feig and starring McCarthy, Wiig, Jones, McKinnon and Christ Hemsworth, "Ghostbusters" arrives in theaters July 22, 2016.
