Matthew Fox (Lost) and Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) have joined Bone Tomahawk, a brutal Western with a cast that already includes Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins.

According to TheWrap, two replace Peter Sarsgaard and Timothy Olyphant, who were previously attached to star.

Fox will portray John Broder, a gentleman with a hidden, inner darkness; Wilson will play Arthur O'Dwyer, a cowboy coping with the emotional fallout of a life crisis.

S. Craig Zahler will direct the film from his own script, which follows a group of four men as they attempt to liberate captives from a group of cave dwelling and cannibalistic outcasts.

The Caliber Media film is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2015.
