Get ready to return to Pawnee.

The cast of Parks and Recreation will reunite for a special to raise money for Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund. The scripted episode will feature core cast members Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir and Retta, as well as some other special surprise.

The special will air on April 30 on NBC and will follow Leslie Knope (Poehler) as she struggles to stay connected with her friends and co-workers during this time of social distancing.

"Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money," said co-creator Mike Schur, who wrote the episode with several writers from the series. "I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!"

The Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund provides food banks with food and resources so they can provide for members of their communities that need it the most. Sponsors State Farm and Subaru will each make matching donations of $150,000, while NBC and the cast have pledged $500,000 in matching donations.

Parks and Recreation follows Leslie Knope, a Parks Department employee in Pawnee, Indiana who will do whatever it takes to make her small city a better place for the citizens she represents.
