Created by Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek first premiered on Sept. 8, 1966 with its pilot episode, "The Man Trap." One of the six panels to be showcased during Star Trek Day will also include a special "Roddenberry Legacy" panel in honor of the creator's 100th birthday. The live orchestra will be led by Jeff Russo, the composer of the themes for Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard.

The celebration will feature a Star Trek: Prodigy panel, with the voice cast for the animated children's series including Brett Gray and Dee Bradley Baker, along with executive producers Kevin and Dan Hageman and co-executive producer/director, Ben Hibon. The Star Trek Universe's other animated series, Star Trek: Lower Decks, will also have a panel featuring voice cast members Noël Wells and Eugene Cordero alongside series creator, showrunner and executive producer Mike McMahan.
