A photo was shared by actor Miranda Cosgrove on Instagram of her and fellow iCarly stars Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor on the set of the upcoming revival, which will stream exclusively on ViacomCBS' new streaming platform Paramount+.

Paramount+ confirmed it was reviving the Nickelodeon sitcom on Dec. 9, 2020 and the platform's official Twitter account posted Cosgrove's photo with a caption of the original show's lyrics, while teasing, "Who's ready for the all new [iCarly] series on Paramount+?"

The original show, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2007-2012, centered on Carly Shay, a young girl living in Seattle with her older brother Spencer . She hosted a hit live web show filmed by her friend and neighbor Freddy Benson. Jennette McCurdy, who played Carly's co-host and friend Sam Puckett, was left out of the revival’s announcement and is not included in Cosgrove's photo. Whether or not Noah Munck will return as the breakout character Gibby is also unconfirmed.

Paramount+, the streaming service that will be replacing CBS All Access, recently announced that the platform will launch in the U.S. on March 4. The service will integrate content from the multiple networks owned by ViacomCBS, such as CBS, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET and The Smithsonian Channel, as well as a selection of live sports coverage. Upon the platform's announcement, ViacomCBS President and CEO Bob Bakish stated, "We're excited to establish one global streaming brand in the broad-pay segment that will draw on the sheer breadth and depth of the ViacomCBS portfolio."

In addition to Nickelodeon's iCarly, SpongeBob SquarePants will also be making its way to Paramount+. The streaming service announced on Jan. 28 that both the upcoming film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run and the prequel series Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years will premiere on the service the same day as launch. The film will also be available for Video-On-Demand the same day for suggested rental price of $19.99 in the U.S.

Paramount+ launches in the U.S. and Latin America on Thursday, March 4.
