A Quiet Place Part II picks up after the deadly events of the critically-acclaimed first film, which saw the Abbott family — played by Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe — fighting to survive in a world taken over by extra-terrestrial monsters that hunt by sound.

The description for the upcoming sequel reads:

"In A Quiet Place Part II...the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path."

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place Part II stars Emily Blunt, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, and Cillian Murphy. The film hits theaters March 20, 2020.
