Pacific Rim: Uprising made a big splash with a flashy trailer earlier this month at New York Comic-Con. Though the movie isn't due until next spring, fans won't have to wait long to return to the world of Jaegars and Kaiju thanks to a six-part miniseries, Pacific Rim Aftermath.

The miniseries, written by Cavan Scott and drawn by Rich Elson, will focus on Jake Pentecost (John Boyega's character) in Santa Monica 2034 as searches for answers about his father's death during the Kaiju War. In addition to Jake, the comic will also focus on a Mech Czar ruling over the criminal underworld, and a Jaegar pilot turned enforcer for a mob boss.
