The Owl House received the green light for Season 3.

Disney Channel has ordered a third season of The Owl House ahead of the Season 2 premiere, which will debut June 12 at 10 a.m. EST. New episodes will air every Saturday through Aug. 14. According to the press release, the third season of the Peabody Award-nominated animated series will consist of three 44-minute specials. Along with this announcement comes a new opening title sequence for Season 2.

Per the press release, Season 2 will pick up immediately after the confrontation with Emperor Belos and "finds our heroes working together to return Luz to the Human Realm, help Eda confront her inner demons, and search for the truth about King's past."

Guest stars for Season 2 include Peter Gallagher (The O.C.), Felicia Day (The Guild), Harvey Guillén (What We Do In The Shadows), Nik Dodani (Atypical), Alex Lawther (The End of the F***ing World) and Debra Wilson (MADtv).

The Owl House has been commemorated for its LGBTQ+ representation from Dinsey Channel and other animators alike, like Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch, who congratulated Owl House creator Dana Terrace for telling the LGBTQ+ story he could not.

Created by Dana Terrace, The Owl House stars Sarah-Nicole Robles as Luz, Wendie Malick as Eda, Alex Hirsch as King, Tati Gabrielle as Willow, Issac Ryan Brown as Gus, Mae Whitman as Amity, Parvesh Cheena as Tibbles, Eden Riegel as Boscha and Bumper Robinson as Principal Bump. Season 2 will air June 12 at 10 a.m. ET. on Disney Channel.
