In exactly one week, the World War II horror film Overlord opens in theaters everywhere blending gritty war action with unrelenting zombie-filled scares as a squad of American troops stumble across top-secret Nazi experiments involving creating an army of the ravenous undead.

The upcoming cross-genre film has released an extended clip through PlayStation Video showing the hellish conditions of war even without the flesh-eating monsters.

As an American aircraft loaded with paratroopers flies over Nazi-occupied France ahead of the Allied invasion on D-Day, the plane quickly takes anti-aircraft fire from the ground. As other planes begin to explode, a direct hit on the aircraft carrying stars Jovan Adepo and Wyatt Russell's characters kills the majority of the squad to bloody effect as they near their drop point.

When one of the plane's engines catches fire and explodes, blowing another paratrooper into gory bits, the surviving soldiers make their leap from the burning aircraft as they struggle to open their chutes above enemy territory.
