"Outcast" Adds Three New Actors For Season Two

As "Outcast" heads toward its Season 1 finale, a trio of new faces is already lined up to join the Cinemax horror drama when it returns next year.

Deadline reports that M.C. Gainey ("Django Unchained"), Hoon Lee ("Banshee,") and Madelyn Deutch ("Texas Rising") been added to the second season, which is filming in South Carolina.

Gainey will play a mysterious junkyard owner named Bob with ties to the town of Rome's "dark past," while Lee is Dr. Kenneth Park, the chief of staff at the town's hospital with his own plans for Kyle (Patrick Fugit) Deutch will co-star as Dakota, a free-spirited and unconventional Christian who clashes with Philip Glenister's Reverend Anderson.

Based on the Skybound/Image comics series Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta, "Outcast" follows Kyle Barnes, a man troubled since childhood by demons both literal and metaphorical as he works alongside a reverend to uncover the truth about the supernatural terrors befalling his hometown. Outcast wraps up its first season on Friday on Cinemax.
