Orlando Con Gears Up for September

Official Press Release

Orlando, FL – After a highly successful freshman performance, the Orlando Con is growing up. The two-day convention will now be a three-day convention when the second annual event, scheduled for September 21-23, 2007, hits the Caribe Royale Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Along with growing the number of days, the size of the convention floor will expand to 30,000 square feet, a growth spurt of 50 percent.

"Last year's event went very well for us, but there's always room for improvement," said Orlando Con co-promoter, Glynn Adkins. "The comments we received said the show was well run and affordable and suggested that we expand the size of the floor and make the show another day longer. We always appreciate feedback and when we feel it will be of benefit to our dealers, exhibitors and attendees, we listen."

The expanded Orlando Con 2007 already has an impressive list of guests and exhibitors lined up with still five months of preparation to come. Some of the guests currently scheduled to appear are: Peter David, Billy Tan, Mike Perkins, Mario Gully, Chuck Satterlee, Christina Z and David Wohl. Some of the exhibitors scheduled to attend are: Dabel Brothers Productions, Arcana Studios, Top Shelf Productions, CGC and Particle 9 Productions.

Orlando Con is gearing up to become a must-go destination for fans of all entertainment. Sponsored by Coliseum of Comics, Particle 9 Productions, A Comic Shop, Bad Apple Comics, Read More Comics and Famous Faces & Funnies, Orlando Con is located one-and-one-half mile from the Walt Disney World theme parks.
