On Onyx Equinox, danger lurks around every corner. Now, in a clip revealed exclusively to CBR, K'in faces a swarm of feral creatures while Zyanya begs Izel to complete his task off in the distance.
"If you don't complete your task, you risk losing your chance," Zyanya tells Izel, gripping his wrist, as the clip opens. In response, Izel pulled away from Zyanya, looking dejected. "Your only chance to get Nelli back," she implored, trying to shake him out of his repreive. "We can still do it. But we must go now." She offered to help him, then they turned and looked towards K'in as he waded into the swamp.
As K'in ducked his head under the water, Izel and Zyanya walked onto the shore. Whent Izel bent down to put a fish into a basket, Zyanya put her hand on his shoulder, saying, "Let's go." With that, she grabbed Izel's arm and began to lead him off as he begged her to stop.
Suddenly, a group of large ape-like creatures swarmed the swamp. K'in didn't notice them at first. He emerged from the water with an arm-full of fish, happily cheering, "Got 'em! We're coming Yun!" However, when he saw the creatures, he became afraid.
"I said no," Izel shouted as he swatted Zyanya's hand away. However, before they could argue more, K'in's scream drew their attention back to the water. Zyanya panicked and grabbed Izel, throwing him over her shoulder and sprinting away from the water. Izel begged her to stop and struggled in her arms. This was enough to send Zyanya crashing to the ground, forcing her to drop Izel.
"I'm not leaving them, okay? I'd do the same for you," Izel spat as he drew his dagger. As he ran to K'in's aid, Zyanya's lip curled with disdain and she muttered, "Fool."
In addition to this clip, CBR can also reveal some exclusive stills from the episode. These stills show Zyanya and Izel's tense discussion, as well as the monsters that lurk in the swamp.
