The onset of coronavirus (COVID-19) has set studios scrambling, shuffling release dates for both theatrical and home video releases. Major films, including Marvel's Black Widow and the next Fast & Furious installment F9, have seen their release dates pushed back, while movies that are still in theaters have battled cinema shutdowns by coming early to streaming and digital, including Bloodshot, which opened just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States and is now slated for home video release on March 24.

Now, Disney has announced that Pixar's Onward, which opened in theaters on March 6, will be available for purchase on various digital platforms as of today at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. It will then make its Disney+ debut on April 3 in the United States.
