One Punch Man and My Hero Academia are two of the most popular anime/manga right now. So it's not at all surprising to hear about the countless amounts of fan art drawn about either.
Today, we're here not to talk about those individual pieces, but the crossover fan art. Fans know what we're talking about: the fan art that celebrates the characters from One Punch Man meeting (and having fun with) the characters in My Hero Academia.
10 Two Heroes
Who doesn't love the idea of these two heroes (Saitama and Midoriya) meeting up? More than that, we kind of love the idea of them actually getting along. That is why we love this bit of fan art, created by Djigutio.
Our two heroes look so happy here, while their allies in the background are showing off different reactions (naturally, All Might is looking as massive and shining as ever). It's the perfect piece to start off this list.
9 I Hate Bullies
Not to hate on Bakugo here, but we're loving this bit of fan art from Leodagan10. Here we have Garou giving Bakugo his opinion – as well as a taste of his own medicine. Fans of both series are probably not in the least bit surprised about how this interaction is being portrayed.
We have to say, we love so much about this piece. Not just the humor or even the characters interacting. The style and details are all so spot-on that it actually feels like a piece from either series, as opposed to fan art. Well done!
8 You Can Be A Hero
Midoriya is well versed in the world of hero worship. Perhaps that is why we love the idea of Saitama being somebody that Midoriya could look up to. There's no doubt in our minds that he would if he knew about him.
Brought to fans by Foxeaf, we adore this bit of fan art. It captures so much about what we love about both Saitama and Midoriya, and overall shows an endearing moment between the two. All while being an encouraging piece of work.
7 An Accidental Bump
While fans don't think Saitama would be the type to beat up two kids that accidentally bumped into him, one should avoid doing so anyway, if possible. On the bright side, if anybody could survive that encounter, it's Bakugo.
This bit of humor is brought to us by greyparalelworld, and fans just can't get enough of it. This is exactly the sort of image fans are hoping for, with these characters in mind. Just a glimpse into an almost everyday occurrence.
6 Is That A Ship On The Horizon?
Whenever crossovers occur, fans can usually find a ship or two worth jumping on board. In this case, it's a Mina/Genos ship! This ship likely originated thanks to their one common trait: their striking eyes. But it's quickly become something more, at least to those that ship them.
Created by Onideshi, this bit of fan art is just insanely cute. Everything from Mina's happy face, to Genos' slightly confused one. It's all exactly how fans would have pictured it.
5 Those Eyes
While fans are talking about the origin of ships, here's a direct reference to those eyes. Created by KurapikaLuck, this fan art portrays our two heroes meeting and an immediate realization of what they have in common.
It's so endearing and potentially accurate. Fans can really picture Mina being that excited about finding somebody with similar eyes. Likewise, fans can picture her making them post for photos (sorry Genos).
4 Fierce and Bold
One of the reasons fans love both My Hero Academia and One Punch Man is because the characters are so fierce, determined, and bold. Okay, they're also pretty quirky at times too. Drawn by Cancerhart, this fan art portrays all of the dramatic elements that fan have come to love from both series.
Having Midoriya and Saitama side by side in such a dramatic portrait is actually really cool, though it's hard to tell if they're about to battle each other or a common enemy. Either way, fans would be up for watching that fight.
3 A New Fandom
If there's on thing fans can count on with Midoriya, it's the fact that he'll obsessively catalog a hero's information. If he and Saitama existed in the same world, fans have no doubt that he'd be following him on the news.
Likewise, we can see him pouncing on the hero, asking a hundred questions a minute...and maybe for an autograph or two. That's why we love this bit of fan art, created by rtilrtil. It's so perfect for our two heroes from different worlds.
2 Two Different Reactions
If fans were to randomly dump a boss level fight in front of Deku and Saitama, the odds are good that they'll get two very different reactions. At least, that's what fans are picturing when they look at this fan art created by floatxs.
Our two heroes are reacting comically different to the same situation. With Deku looking overwhelmed, and Saitama as calm (and bored) as ever. It's actually pretty on point.
1 Two Heroes Smiling
Last on our list of crossover fan art is a piece created by Lilou1102. Here fans have two of our favorite heroes, Saitama and Midoriya, side by side and loving it. They're even smiling at the camera (Er, artist?), and in general, working to make us fans proud.
Meanwhile, Genos and Bakugo are having a bit of a staring/shouting contest in the background...which is so accurate it's almost not funny. Almost. In short, fans absolutely adore this piece!
