With the second season trailer drop of One-Punch Man, fans are desperate to have the new footage on their screens. There are some things that season two automatically confirmed in the trailer, like Garou being a major threat as a villain, and learning more about Saitama's origin story. However, there are a couple of things we also think will be coming to the forefront of season two.

While we can't exactly confirm everything, based on the manga, this is where we think the direction will be going in for the much-awaited second season. Fans are in for a wild ride, that much is certain.

10 THE SELFISHNESS OF THE HEROES

Unfortunately, One-Punch Man heroes have often been put on the same pedestal that our own society puts celebrities on. Due to this, some of the heroes tend to go against their own ideas on what is right, in order to please the people.

This means that for Saitama, he is going to seriously be struggling internally on what it means to be a hero. Is it worth it to be what society wants him to be? Or should he be the person that he feels he should actually be?

9 S-CLASS SCREENTIME

The S-Class heroes got very little screen time from their introduction in season one. However, their abilities are definitely to be reckoned with. The manga shows that with season two brings further depth to these characters. We will definitely get to see more of their fighting styles and their interesting personalities.

Of course, we don't know who they will be shedding the spotlight on, but we know that they will be more than entertaining. Not only that, but fans are excited to see their fight scenes.

8 SAITAMA BEING SAITAMA

One thing season two will definitely bring is the one thing that One-Punch Man is known for; Saitama's knockouts. The fact that he is able to defeat his enemies in one single blow is the selling point of the manga and the show. We will, definitely, be seeing more of that as the season progresses.

However, season two will bring more of his frustrations to the forefront as he is desperate to fight in long battles, but he doesn't know how to do that. He will be looking for a challenge in season two, and the tournament is one of the places he will find it.

7 A TOURNAMENT

Any good anime has a tournament, it's practically the law. In the manga, Saitama is desperate to give his life meaning, and he wants to do it through martial arts. Although winning every battle definitely gives him an ego boost, it doesn't actually improve his life. His feelings about his life remain the same.

Interestingly, it is this tournament that helps him get some clarity. He has to hide his true identity throughout the tournament, otherwise, he might lose his position as a hero. It will be a plot point that will be focused on inner conflict as much as outer conflict.

6 TATSUMAKI

Despite her childlike appearance, Tatsumaki is likely one of the strongest characters in the series. However, because of how she looks, she is often underestimated, and if anything, that is what makes her powers all the more surprising when we see them.

We are definitely going to see more of her in season two, as her character is not only one of the most popular, but definitely one of the most powerful. Her psychic powers make her a force to be reckoned with. She is the substance that will make season two worth remembering.

5 HILARIOUS SIDE CHARACTERS

You can't have a successful anime show without an array of amazing side characters. While some are more important than others, they are bound to be exciting. The greatest thing about One-Punch Man is how they use their secondary characters to bring in an amazing sense of humour.

So while fans are always excited to see some new action, they can definitely expect some new side stories and some good old-fashioned humour. The show is known for going over the top, and we can definitely expect more of that for season two.

4 KING

King didn't get much screen time, despite being known The Strongest Man in the World. Despite that, so far, fans have only seen him be a little bit lazy, as he didn't even take part in the alien invasion. It was too far away from him, so he couldn't be bothered.

In general, fans don't know much about him if they're casual viewers, so season two will be bringing more of him to the forefront. Those scars that run down his face definitely has fans desperate to know more about him.

3 THE MONSTER ASSOCIATION

The enemies to the Hero Association, the Monster Association will be the focal point of season two. Their goal in life? To do nothing but destroy society, and they don't care who or what gets in their way. However, it won't be just about the fight scenes.

Both associations will think about the deeper meanings on what it means to be a part of these massive groups, and conforming to what the groups want. This conflict will prove that the show is more than just about some fight scenes, or people working out to become amazingly strong. It will point out the flaws of organized societies.

2 WHO IS BLAST?

One of the biggest mysteries in One-Punch Man is Blast. If you're a casual viewer and haven't gone ahead and read the manga, we are still being kept in the dark on what Blast is capable of, and who he is. We do know that Blast is definitely a hero, but has yet to show up even with the threats we have seen in season one.

Considering that, perhaps it is the Monster Association that will lure Blast out of their hole. Or, hopefully, we will learn more about him. Animes can sometimes drag out manga storylines, so we don't know if Blast will actually appear, but we hope to learn more about him.

1 GENOS' ARC

Genos arc should be getting some more screen time with season two coming up. He is known as the Demon Cyborg of the Hero Association, and he is constantly seeking revenge for the death of his whole family.

Because of this, he is constantly trying to get better and more powerful, to defeat everyone in his path. He will definitely be getting some character development. Plus, fans do love a powerful hero on the quest for revenge, so his story is one that fans are eager to continue watching.
