WARNING: The following contains spoilers for One-Punch Man Chapter 130, by ONE, Yusuke Murata, John Werry, James Gaubatz, available now in English from Viz Media.

While One-Punch Man Chapter 129 revealed various powerful heroes heading towards the former site of the Monster Association HQ so as to do battle with the fusion of Psychos and Lord Orochi, the latest installment of the manga returns the action to the main showdown. Previously, Tatsumaki/Terrible Tornado unleashed her incredible abilities to wreck the Monster Association HQ. However, this did not kill Psychos, who emerged from the rubble unscatched. One-Punch Man Chapter 130 now reveals Psychos had some divine assistance in becoming so powerful.

As the showdown between Psychos and Tornado continues, the hero targets the villain's roots, through which she's absorbing energy. However, her attack fails. Psychos then brags that she's more powerful than Tornado and uses her abilities to essentially cut a piece off of the planet. This rattles Tornado, and even Psychos seems surprised at her own strength. Tornado deduces that just combining with Orochi shouldn't have allowed Psychos to get so strong. Psychos then reveals this massive increase in power has to do with an additional upgrade she received.

"You have no chance of winning," Psychos tells Tornado. "A great force has chosen me... and granted power stronger than your own." The manga then flashes back to when Psychos and Orochi struggled for control over their fused body. At that time, a giant creature resembling "brain cells... visualizations of outer space... and the surface of Jupiter" appears before Psychos. She recognizes this being as "something like God." This experience causes her to awaken to her destiny and become filled with "a mysterious power."  This destiny, as Psychos tells it, is to fuse all beings in existence into a single entity, becoming "the very planet itself" in the process While Tornado mocks this plan, Psychos promises the hero will soon see the truth, and that she'll suffer "divine punishment."

As the battle continues, Psychos once again transforms and sprouts new dragons from her body, who proceed to fire blasts of energy at Tornado. While it's unclear just whether Tornado will come out on top of this battle, this confrontation is sure to test the very limits of the S-Class hero's strength.

However, even more concerning is the powerful entity that empowered Psychos. While it's possible the powerful fusion of Psychos and Lord Orochi may be defeated, the fact there's something out there that can empower villains in a profound way hints at One-Punch Man's ultimate evil -- potentially the one Shibabawa predicted would end the Earth. This divine being was also seemingly responsible for Homeless Emperor's powers, meaning this presence does have humanity's best interests in mind, which could spell disaster for the Earth and all of its inhabitants.

The next chapter of One-Punch Man in English does not have a definite release date at this time.
