Both the heroes and civilians are taken into Metal Knight's care to remove the radiation they received from Garo while the unaffected manpower have begun their cleanup operation. Interestingly, the subsiding chaos also becomes an opportunity for surviving characters to surface.

After knocking some sense into Garo, Saitama finds his home to be in complete ruins. Fortunately, he has already vented all his anger and accepts the current situation for what it is. He takes Genos to the ruins to at least attempt recovering some of their stuff.

King in One-Punch Man

Chapter 169 of One-Punch Man brought readers to a modern and well-populated apartment building. Three young men went to the newcomer's unit hoping to intimidate and establish the hierarchy, but they were in for a surprise. Instead of some random stranger, it was King who greeted them; he'd also gone there to visit. Unfortunately, he came at the wrong time as Saitama wasn't at home, making him wonder where the bald hero might have wandered to.

In City Z, Pig God escaped from the hospital's confines and was digging through some rubble. Some government agents came to fetch him, but the S-Class hero was adamant about continuing his activity. The A-Class hero Ayer was then forced to make a move and spotted a peculiar puddle of water with eyes. He immediately attacked it with his boomerang, only for Evil Mineral Water to retaliate with a high-pressure stream of water and puncture the hero's throat. Pig God swiftly swallowed the water monster and digested it. Witnessing all these events unfold was another former Monster Association executive -- Black Spermatozoon.

It then followed suit and pretended to be a monkey.
