One-Punch Man Artist Shares New Art of Season 2’s Main Characters

One-Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata has shared new art highlighting the main characters of Season 2.

In a post on Twitter, Murata shared color art of Saitama, Garou and Suiryu. He captioned the photo with a remark that he wanted to draw the picture earlier, but was too busy.

Garou, also known as the Hero Hunter/Human Monster, has been a recurring antagonist in the manga and on the anime. He's immensely powerful, but has thus far proven no match for the immensely powerful Saitama. Suiryu is a martial artist who proved his strength during the Super Fight Tournament, though was unable to best the titular one-punch man.

Initially released as a web comic, One-Punch Man was created by ONE in 2009. The series went viral and was given a remake illustrated by Murata and appearing in Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump. The manga is licensed by Viz Media in English. One-Punch Man Season 1 debuted in Japan in 2015, with a dub following the next year.

Produced by J.C. Staff, new episodes of One-Punch Man debut every Tuesday on Hulu. One-Punch Man chapter 98, by ONE and Yusuke Murata, will release in English through Viz Media on July 10.
