One Piece fans will soon be able to own footwear worthy of the King of the Pirates.

The beloved pirate anime franchise and apparel maker VANS have teamed up for the first time ever to create a special line of shoes and other items like t-shirts, hoodies, hats and even a backpack. The entire line features One Piece iconography, ranging from portraits of the Straw Hat pirates themselves to the crew's Jolly Roger to their wanted posters. A complete listing of all the items in the collection is available on the official website for the VANS x One Piece collaboration, and everything will go on sale on Nov. 11.

One Piece Treasure Abounds

The new shoes and clothing options won't be the only merchandise aimed at One Piece fans in the near future. Most notably, the latest movie in the franchise, One Piece Film: Red, will soon premiere in several Western markets. It arrives in Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 3 and in the United States and Canada the following day. Film Red has already proven itself to be a box office juggernaut, having earned over 17 billion yen (roughly $122 million) from its theatrical run in Japan alone.

Moreover, in February 2023, the Choppertchi Tamagotchi will hit shelves. This special toy from Bandai will allow One Piece fans to raise their very own Chopper, the talking reindeer and doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. Each unit retails for 2,750 yen (about $19). Bandai is also developing a new One Piece video game, which will drop early next year. According to the toy company, "One Piece Odyssey transports the Straw Hat Crew to a mysterious new island where they embark on quests and fight powerful enemies and massive bosses in exciting turn-based battles."
