The tournament at the Corrida Colosseum was pretty epic and there were many great fights. The Corrida Colosseum is in the country of Dressrosa. It was a part of the Dressrosa arc in One Piece. Donquixote Doflamingo had put Ace's Mera Mera no Mi as the grand prize. So, Luffy decided to go into the contest and back his brother's devil fruit.
It was all just a scheme by Doflamingo in order to stop Luffy from interfering in his plans. But, Luffy's work was cut short due to Sabo being present at the colosseum. Many great fighters were involved during this competition. In this post, we are gonna rank the top ten best fighters at the Corrida Colosseum.
10 Hajrudin
Hajrudin is the captain of the New Giant Warrior Pirates. He is also the captain of the sixth ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Hajrudin is a giant who hails from Elbaf. Hajurdin used to be a mercenary who worked for Buggy.
Hajrudin possesses a tremendous amount of power due to his size. But, he was unimpressive when he fought at the Corrida Colosseum. It will be interesting to see whether or not he has gained any additional abilities since his last major fight at Dressrosa.
9 Ideo
"Destructive Cannon" Idea is one of the more cooler characters present at Corrida Colosseum. Ideo is a member of the Longarm Tribe. Ideo is the captain of the Ideo Pirates and the fourth ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Ideo's fighting style is based on an unknown technique that causes explosions when it hits the target.
Ideo was proving to be an equal match to Don Sai, but he was knocked out by Don Chinjao who took advantage of the situation. Ideo isn't capable of using Haki, so he can't compete with more powerful fighters.
8 Cavendish
Cavendish is one of the Super Rookies who gained fame during the time-skip. He is the captain of the Beautiful Pirates. He is a former prince of Burgeois Kingdom. Cavendish has a bounty of over 300,000,000 beris.
Cavendish has an alter ego known as Hakuba that comes out while he is sleeping. Cavendish possesses Durandal which is a named sword. Initially, Cavendish hated Luffy because he took away his spotlight. However, he ended up joining the Straw Hat Grand Fleet and became the captain of the first ship.
7 Bartolomeo
Bartolomeo is one of the new Super Rookies. He is the captain of Barto Club. Bartolomeo possesses the Bari Bari no Mi, which allows him to create barriers at will. The barriers that Barto creates are very durable.
He can use them to attack as well as defend. Bartolomeo's barriers are pretty durable as it was withstood attacks from Hack, Bellamy, and Gladius. It even withstood the King Punch. After Luffy took down Doflamingo, Bartolomeo became a member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. He is the captain of the second ship.
6 Bellamy
Bellamy is the former captain of Bellamy Pirates. He has a bounty of 195,000,000 beris. Bellamy respected Donquixote Doflamingo a lot and he wanted to get a second chance at doing something for him.
He fought at the Corrida Colosseum and he was much more powerful than before. Bellamy is capable of using two types of Haki. He ate the Bane Bane no Mi that allows him to turn parts of his body into spring. This ability allows Bellamy to move very quick speeds.
5 Jesus Burgess
Jesus Burgess is probably the most underwhelming right-hand man of a Yonko. Burgess is a member of the Blackbeard Pirates. He is the captain of the first ship. Burgess was also competing for the Mera Mera no Mi at Corrida Colosseum.
Burgess is able to use two types of Haki. He managed to get through to the first round of the tournament, but in the second round, he was absolutely thrashed by Sabo. Despite the manga progressing so much story-wise, Burgess has done nothing impressive at all except for being beaten up twice by Sabo at Dressrosa.
4 Don Chinjao
Next up on the list is Don Chinjao. He is the 12th captain of the Happo Navy. Chinjao was a very famous pirate during his early days. He is a former pirate with a bounty of 542,000,000 beris. Chinjao's prime was ruined by Luffy's grandfather, Garp.
Chinjao was renowned for his drill, but Garp flattened it with just one punch. Don Chinjao is one of the few characters capable of using all three types of Haki. Chinjao specializes in Hasshoken that is a fighting style unique to the Chinjao Family.
3 Don Sai
Don Sai is the thirteenth captain of the Happo Navy. He is also the captain of the third ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Sai showed many impressive feats at Dressrosa. He was able to beat the Funk Brother without much difficulty. Also, Sai fought Lao G, who is one of the top executives of the Donquixote Family.
Sai uses a unique style of fighting known as Hasshoken. Sai has great control over Hasshoken. He combines it with his Armament Haki to give rise to very strong attacks. Chinjao also admitted that Sai had indeed surpassed him during the arc.
2 Lucy(Monkey D. Luffy)
Monkey D. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hats. He participated in the competition under a fake name in order to conceal his identity. Luffy wanted to get the Mera Mera no Mi back as a memory of Ace.
Luffy was able to beat most of the competitors without any difficulty. The biggest challenge that he faced was Don Chinjao, a former pirate with a bounty of over 500,000,000 beris. Still, Luffy was able to defeat the veteran pirate without much difficulty. Luffy switched places his brother after getting past the first round of the battle.
1 Lucy(Sabo)
At the top of the list, we have Sabo. Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army. After switching places with Luffy, Sabo participated in the final and ended up winning the Mera Mera no Mi. He is without a doubt an Admiral-level character. Sabo was able to clash against Fujitora with ease and he didn't even have proper control over it.
Sabo also clashed against Bastille and defeated him quite easily. He also registered any easy win versus Jesus Burgess, who is the commander of the First Ship of Blackbeard Pirates.
