Initially, Zoro's dream was all about getting stronger and beating the man who held the title of the World's Strongest Swordsman. However, with time, Zoro's priority shifted drastically as Luffy and his crew took precedence over his own dream.

By performing the countless miracles that he did, Luffy made Zoro believe that he was a man worth sacrificing himself for. Zoro willingly gave up his dream and his life on Thriller Bark to save the crew from Kuma.
