As pirates, One Piece's Straw Hat Pirates are no strangers to bounties. Monkey D. Luffy and his crew may have humble beginnings, but as they've traversed the Grand Line, they've progressively become more notorious, driving the price on each of their heads to astronomical levels.

Once the Raid on Onigashima was over, the Straw Hat Pirates all received new bounties. Although there is still time for these numbers to increase before the end of One Piece, there's no denying that the series' protagonists are as wanted as any crew currently sailing in the New World.

Updated by Ajay Aravind on April 12, 2024: With One Piece's Final Saga now firmly underway, the Straw Hat Pirates have officially begun the last leg of their long-running journey across the Grand Line. Monkey D. Luffy is finally an Emperor of the Sea, making his crew one of the most-wanted groups in the world and placing each of its members one step closer to their ultimate goals.

One Piece's 15 Most Disliked Characters, Ranked
One Piece is known for having some endearing, lovable characters, but an anime with villains is bound to have some much-disliked characters, as well.

Monkey D. Luffy's bounty has always been the highest among his crew, and his post-Wano bounty is no different. Following his defeat of Kaido, the Straw Hat Pirate's bounty rose to three billion Berries, solidifying him as one of the most-wanted criminals in the Grand Line.

Since Luffy worked with Eustass Kid and Trafalgar D. Water Law to defeat the alliance of Big Mom and Kaido, the three Supernovas received equal credit for the victory, resulting in each of them being given the exact same bounty. In reality, the Awakening of Monkey D. Luffy's Devil Fruit warrants an even higher bounty, so there's a strong chance that his wanted level rises a lot more by the end of One Piece.

Zoro, Jinbe, and Sanji Aren't Too Far Behind Their Captain

Master Swordsman

Episode 1 "I'm Luffy! The Man Who Will Become the Pirate King!"

Roronoa Zoro has demonstrated as much devotion and willpower as any character in One Piece. As evidenced by his new bounty of 1.111 billion Berries, the swordsman's efforts are finally paying off. The Raid on Onigashima saw Zoro defeat King the Conflagration, putting him one step closer to his ultimate goal of dethroning Dracule Mihawk as the World's Strongest Swordsman.

Despite defeating King and Queen in one-on-one battles, neither Zoro nor Sanji received bounty levels equal to or greater than their opponents. However, as the pair head into the Egghead Island Arc, they are poised to assert themselves as the most well-known commanders of any Emperor of the Sea.

Jinbe: 1.1 Billion Berries

Helmsman

Episode 430 "A Warlord in Prison! Jinbe the Knight of the Sea"

Because Jinbe previously served as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, he's easily the most well-established pirate to join the Straw Hat crew. After the events of the Wano Country Arc, the Fish-Man now holds a bounty of 1.1 billion Berries, giving him the third-highest bounty of anyone on Luffy's crew.

Whereas Zoro and Sanji earned their increased bounties by defeating opponents with similar wanted levels, Jinbe instead defeated Who's Who, a member of the Beast Pirates with a bounty of only 546 million Berries. While this is a bit of a curious reason for such a drastic increase in Jinbe's bounty, his notoriety and connection to Fish-Man/merfolk obviously strike fear in the World Government.

Sanji: 1.032 Billion Berries

One Piece's 1100th episode, "Powers on a Different Level! Luffy vs. Lucci," ranks just one point below perfection according to viewers on IMDb.

Of all the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji is likely the most unhappy with his post-Wano bounty. At 1.032 billion Berries, the hot-blooded chef sports a wanted level that is higher than most New World pirates. However, since it's lower than three of his crewmates (Luffy, Zoro, and Jinbe), he's still not content.

Sanji's fight against Queen the Plague pushed him to his limits, ultimately awakening the dormant Germa 66 genes that were buried deep inside him. While his victory against Queen was more than impressive enough to net him his new bounty, it's worth noting that Sanji's connection with the Vinsmoke family also feeds into his wanted level.

Nico Robin Received The Most Drastic Spike In Her Bounty

Episode 67 "Deliver Princess Vivi! Luffy Pirates Depart"

Of all the Straw Hat Pirates, Nico Robin received the most drastic spike in her bounty — the price on her head jumped from 130 million Berries all the way up to 930 million, nearly rivaling that of Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe. This is partially due to her defeat of the Beast Pirates' Black Maria; however, it's likely much more related to her ability to read and translate Poneglyphs.

The World Government has feared Nico Robin's ability to decipher Poneglyphs for many years, but with the Straw Hat Pirates now in possession of three Road Ponelgyphs, they are legitimately poised to uncover the true history of the Void Century. As a member of an Emperor's crew, Robin is well-protected, so her increased wanted level shouldn't be too much of an issue for her.

Usopp, Franky, Brook, And Nami All Received A Flat Increase Of 300 Million Berries

Usopp: 500 Million Berries

Sniper

Episode 8 "Who Will Win? Showdown Between the True Powers of the Devil Fruit!"

Although some of the Straw Hat Pirates received larger increases to their bounties than others, Usopp, Franky, Brook, and Nami's wanted level all received a flat increase of 300 million Berries. Usopp's established propensity for lying is among One Piece's best gags, so it's only fitting that this habit would factor into his post-Wano bounty of 500 million Berries.

Although he didn't defeat either character in direct combat, Usopp claimed that he bested both Page One and Ulti, which is almost certainly the reason for his disproportionately large bounty. Since the events of the Dressrosa Arc, the World Government has consistently placed a higher value on Usopp's head than expected. However, considering his ability to rally those around him and consistent displays of bravery, there's a growing argument that the Straw Hat Pirate's sniper deserves every bit of his bounty.

Is One Piece Film: RED Actually Canon?
It's not uncommon for anime franchises to release non-canon films, which leaves fans wondering if One Piece Film Red falls into that category.

Although some members of the Straw Hat Pirates received more notable increases to their bounty, the reveal of Franky's wanted poster is arguably the most interesting of any character in the crew. Rather than showing his face, Franky's bounty poster now displays a picture of the Thousand Sunny, likely introducing a storyline that will be explored in future narrative arcs. Also, while his bounty of 394 million Berries is impressive, it's potentially underselling the threat that Franky poses to the World Government.

He's equipped with Dr. Vegapunk's technology, trained under the Fish-Man who built Gol D. Roger's ship, and defeated Sasaki of the Beast Pirates — valued at 472 million Berries — in a one-on-one fight. This suggests that his bounty should be closer to half a billion Berries. However, given the limited information that the World Government knows about the Raid on Onigashima, his relatively low total is likely a result of ignorance rather than dismissal.

Episode 337 "Venture Into the Devil's Sea! The Mysterious Skeleton Floating Through the Fog"

Compared to the other Straw Hat Pirates, Brook has earned his bounty over a much longer period of time, first receiving a bounty 50 years before the events of One Piece. Now that his captain has asserted himself as an Emperor of the Sea, the Soul King is more wanted than ever.

Brook's bounty of 383 million Berries all but puts an end to his life as a traveling performer, as the price on his head is large enough to attract the attention of the New World's most dangerous pirates. During the Raid on Onigashima, he played a major role in protecting Nico Robin from CP0, which likely factored into the World Government's decision to raise his bounty.

Nami: 366 Million Berries

Age

Episode 1 "I'm Luffy! The Man Who Will Become the Pirate King!"

Nami is by no means the strongest member of the Straw Hat Pirates; in fact, one could make a solid argument that she's weaker than any of her peers aboard the Thousand Sunny. Still, as One Piece has progressed, the former cat burglar has grown much stronger, a pattern of growth which is reflected by her new bounty of 366 million Berries.

By controlling the weather and manipulating the atmospheric conditions around her, Nami has learned how to generate powerful offensive attacks, making her a bit of a glass cannon compared to other New World Pirates. After acquiring Zeus from Big Mom, Nami has significantly elevated her firepower. This allowed her to defeat Ulti, who is legitimately one of the most dangerous members of the Beast Pirates.

Tony Tony Chopper's Bounty Continues To Be A Running Gag

Episode 81 "Are You Happy? The Doctor who is Called a Witch!"

As has been the case since he first received a bounty, Tony Tony Chopper only received a minimal increase to his wanted level as part of the running gag of him being seen as the Straw Hats' pet. The price on the reindeer's head has now gone up in value from 100 Berries to 1000, which, in fairness, is a 900-percent increase of his former bounty — far more than any other crew member except Luffy can boast of.

Since Chopper has never received an accurate bounty, it's difficult to project how much the World Government thinks he would be worth. However, given his advanced medical knowledge and deceiving strength, it's entirely possible that Chopper would be worth more than Franky, Brook, or Nami, putting his presumable value north of 400 million Berries.
