The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is, as the name suggests, a massive fleet led by the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece. This fleet was formed after the events of Dressrosa where Monkey D. Luffy successfully took down Donquixote Doflamingo, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet is one of the most powerful forces not only in One Piece but in anime. With an adventurous outlook, there's no denying that lots of characters from different anime would love being a part of it. Here are 5 characters from various anime who would join the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and 5 who wouldn't.

10 Would: Midoriya Izuku

Midoriya Izuku is the protagonist of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga. Izuku has gone on to become one of the most loved characters in the entire shonen, let alone his own series.

With ideals and goals as pure as his, it's no surprise that he'll be on board with the idea of sailing with Luffy and co, all the while getting to learn from a strong pirate in Luffy as well. There's no denying that even though Luffy is a pirate, he does more good than harm, and that's certainly the kind of person that Midoriya respects as well.

9 Wouldn't: Katsuki Bakugo

Iida, Uraraka, and Deku look on in terror at Bakugo in My Hero Academia.

Along with Midoriya, Bakugo is one of the main characters in My Hero Academia. Although Bakugo is around the same power as that of Midoriya, he wouldn't be enthralled with the idea of joining the Straw Hat Pirates, most likely because he's very different from Midoriya.

While Midoriya loves to interact with others and ask for help, it would simply hurt Bakugo's pride to join someone else, even if he wanted to. If Bakugo ever existed in the world of One Piece, best believe he'll start his own pirate crew to challenge the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

8 Would: Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki is the protagonist of Masashi Kishimoto's masterpiece known as Naruto. Fans of shonen would be overjoyed with the idea of seeing both Naruto and Luffy in the same series. It goes without saying that Naruto would enjoy Luffy's company as well.

Furthermore, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda has already paid tribute to Naruto several times already and he even drew a cross-over when Naruto completed its serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Naruto would love to join the Grand Fleet as Luffy's ally.

7 Wouldn't: Sasuke Uchiha

Also from Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha is the rival of Naruto Uzumaki, and a ninja just as strong as him. Like Bakugo, Sasuke wouldn't be too excited at the idea of joining up with a bunch of pirates to hunt the One Piece. A guy like him would likely prefer to work on his own and trace the treasure down with his Rinnegan.

There is no guarantee that Sasuke won't try to revolutionize the world of One Piece with his rather weird ideas as well. Regardless, having him the series would be really fun.

6 Would: Asta

Asta is the lead character in Yuki Tabata's Black Clover, and an extremely powerful mage. Asta's power would be extremely useful in the world of One Piece, and his friendly nature would see him integrate with the Straw Hat crew almost instantly.

What's more, Asta would relish training together with Roronoa Zoro as both of them love to undergo severe workout sessions. That alone is enough to bring him over to the side of Straw Hat Pirates. He'd also be a good fit for the Pirate-Ninja-Mink-Samurai alliance given his abilities with magic and a sword.

5 Wouldn't: Yuno

Yuno _ Bell _ Wind Spirit _ Black Clover

Yuno is one of the most crucial characters in Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga. In his world, he's one of the strongest magicians around and one of the people gunning for the title of Wizard King as well.

Unlike Asta, Yuno likes to analyze a situation completely before taking a step further. As such, he would be unfit for the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, and the crew won't be too interested in having him on board either, given his aloof nature. If present in the One Piece world, Yuno would work rather well with the likes of Trafalgar D. Water Law as the two are eerily similar to each other.

4 Would: Shinra

Shinra, from Fire Force, is yet another person who would find it easy to integrate with the Straw Hat Pirates. Like many other shonen protagonists, Shinra gets excited at the prospect of a great challenge. With a guy like Luffy at the helm, Shinra would thoroughly enjoy the journey with the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Furthermore, in doing so, Shinra would have someone similar in Sanji on the ship as well. Interestingly, both have fire-based powers and seeing the two interact in a series would be an absolute joy.

3 Wouldn't: Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchiha crossing his arms Naruto

Madara Uchiha is one of the main antagonists of the Naruto series. Being an antagonist, it is kind of a given that he wouldn't be excited about the idea of joining up with a pirate crew, no matter what. In a series where Naruto swayed most of the antagonists with his talk-no-jutsu, Madara remains to be one of the few who remained unaffected by it.

His conviction is way too strong to see him join up with a bunch of pirates. If in the One Piece world, Madara would simply try to take over it, just as he did with the world of Naruto. He would likely serve as a great villain for the Grand Fleet to take down.

2 Would: Gon Freecss

Gon Freecss stabbed in the forehead in Hunter X Hunter

Gon Freecss is the protagonist of Hunter x Hunter, one of the most popular anime series out there. Like Luffy, Gon is a guy who loves adventure, which is one of the reasons why he became a Hunter in the first place. With the One Piece world being incredibly vast, Gon would relish the opportunity of joining the Straw Hat Grand Fleet and sailing with them.

Furthermore, Gon would likely get stronger traveling with them, and in Luffy, he would have someone who is hungry for more power as well. It goes without saying that the two would hit it off instantly.

1 Wouldn't: Meruem

Meruem preparing to attack in Hunter x Hunter

Meruem is an antagonist from the Hunter x Hunter series written by Yoshihiro Togashi. As the pinnacle of evolution, Meruem tends to look down on the likes of humans. He loves to feast on those with a rather powerful aura, and that's certainly not someone the Straw Hat Pirates would like having in their fleet.

Meruem would serve as a decent antagonist in the One Piece world. It would be interesting to see how he fares against the likes of Monkey D. Luffy among other pirates. Regardless, having him in the series would be nothing short of fun.
